Hong Kong Street Food

While aimlessly wondering around the streets of Hong Kong, you will see many different things such as cool antique shops, traditional Chinese herbal shops, big sky scrapers and of course some delicious Hong Kong street food!

I have come across some very tasty dishes, both eaten for breakfast one morning (don’t judge!) and they were just outstanding.

My breakfast #1 was dim sum from a hole in the wall dim sum shop with no name. It was a family run operation and the food was served in a no-frills environment, it came very fast and was extremely cheap.

My second breakfast was another very popular Hong Kong breakfast dish consisting of dry Ramen noodle, like the ones you would eat in University as a poor student, served in a very rich and delicious broth, topped with some char-grilled savoury pork. This dish cost about $3 and it was better than any other soup I have ever tasted!

In my opinion, street food and on the go eating is the most exciting part of Eating in Asia!
